Agostino Leone is a Toronto-based director, filmmaker, and writer dedicated to elevating Canadian film and television. As a proud member of the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) and an alumnus of Toronto Metropolitan University, where he earned both his MA and BA in Film Directing and Media Production, Leone is committed to creating impactful cinema that inspires positive change.

With extensive experience as an Assistant Director for major networks and platforms, including Netflix, Apple, Disney, Hulu, and CBC, Leone brings a wealth of knowledge to his craft. He is currently in development on his debut feature film, PERFETTO, set for release in 2026.

 

Leone’s notable works as a director and writer include We Had a Time (2020), Between Time (2019), Tell Me How(2018), His Quiet Mind (2017), and Life of Nonna (2016). His passion for storytelling and excellence in filmmaking continues to shape his vision for the future of Canadian cinema.
